Committees support the mission and strategic objectives of IMC USA.

Volunteering on a committee is opened to all members and is encouraged as a way to contribute to the Institute and the consulting profession, as well as to develop leadership skills and grow professional networks.

Executive

Responsible for in-between board meeting actions or critical business with certain limitations. This committee is open to national board members only.

Membership

Actively recruits, retains, engages and welcomes new members to the association.

Certification

Establishes standards and issues the Certified Management Consultant® (CMC®) designation.

Academy

Develops and delivers educational programming.

Chair: Loraine Huchler CMC®

Conference

Plans the annual conference and related programming, speakers, activities and venue.

Recognition & Awards

Identifies members and volunteers to be recognized during the annual awards celebration for service excellence within the institute and profession.

Marketing

Provides strategic support for all marketing and communications efforts.

Finance

Responsible for monitoring the annual budget and financial performance of the institute. This committee is by board appointment only.

Ethics

Oversees all ethics related matters, including standards, issues and resolutions.

Nominating

Responsible for recruiting and vetting board candidates and the election process.

Committee Chairs are appointed by Board Chair/CEO and are affirmed by the Board of Directors.

Committee volunteers are appointed by each Committee Chair.
